Yay it's Friday! Welcome to my favourites this week. I hope your week has gone well and your weekend is planned to be full of action or relaxation, maybe a bit of pampering? First up, I've got a couple of lovely pampering products thanks to my Lust Have it Box beauty subscription, so let's take a look...
Baji Kakadu Plum Antioxidant Formula Face Scrub
Karpati Bio-Cellulose Lightening Mask (plastic still on)
Sinful Colors Island Coral 1103
I'm totally addicted to Sinful Colors. The formula of their cream nail polishes is unmatched by any other brand I've tried. With no base or top coat, I'm getting no chipping, just slight tip wear right up to day 4 which is unheard of for me. What's more, these USA made polishes are dirt cheap. At just $4 for 15ml (.5Fl. Oz.) at Kmart here in Australia, or just $2 in the US you just can't go wrong. They also have glitter, matte, pearl and shimmer polishes, I can't wait to try more!
Sigma E30 Pencil Brush
I bought Sigma's E30 Pencil brush for applying eyeliner, but I'll be honest with you, it's just too big for that. It is however perfect for applying a light, highlight eye shadow to the inner corner of the eye, and under the arch of the eye brow. I am getting a little shedding, but hopefully I'm just wearing it in. The bristles are ultra soft, and quick to dry after washing. The Sigma E30 is not what I expected (as I wanted it for eyeliner), but I'm really enjoying this brush for eyeshadow highlighting.
Avanti Lemon Squeezer
Over to the kitchen now, I've been really enjoying making my own iced tea and lemonade. Hand squeezing lemons was getting to be tiresome due to the seeds and pulp ending up in my drink. I picked up this Avanti Lemon squeezer and I've wondered what on earth I've doing without it for all of these years. You slice a lemon and place one half, cut side down in the squeezer. You only need to press lightly as the lever action easily juices your lemon, a bit like using a garlic press. This Avanti one has a baked enamel finish so it won't rust, and you can put it in the dishwasher. It was only a few dollars, and they've also got different sizes colour coded for oranges and limes. I think I'll get the orange one next.
That's it for my favourites. I hope you've enjoyed seeing them this week. Feel free to ask any questions, or maybe tell me your favourite this week in the comment section below. Have a wonderful weekend!
