Air Wick Black Edition Multicolour Candle Review

I've been lucky enough to receive one of Air Wick's new Black Edition Multicolour Candles to review here on sparkle2day.

The scent I've been trying out is Crackling Fire and Cinnamon Spice. It has a pleasant cinnamon fragrance which smells more natural and enjoyable to me than regular air freshners. There's two other scents to choose from entitled Purple Blackberry Fig and Golden Winter Woods. That's all O.K, but the most unique part is definitely the pattern on the glass constantly changing colours. It's captivating, and a huge hit with the kids (supervised of course).

Take a look at the video above to see my candle changing colours.

It created a lovely atmosphere when we had family over for my Mum's birthday last night. Everyone tried to come up with theories about how the colour changing effect works. I'm sorry to say, we haven't nutted it out, we'll just have to leave it to the Boffins at Airwick :D

My family is really enjoying our Air Wick Black Edition Multicolour Candle, for creating a lovely atmosphere for guests, over dinner, or even a nice relaxing bath. If you'd like to know more, click the links below for:

I was not paid for this post, however I was given one candle for my consideration. All opinions are my own.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. I love candles...this one is gorgeous. I wonder how they do the colour changing as well. Either way it's a great idea as colour helps relax people in different ways!! A nice long bath with candles sounds amazing too!! Happy Valentine's day my dear girl, I hope yours was marvellous. And eating icecream when your unwell is just what your suppose to do ;D Xxx

  2. That is such a cool candle! I've seen them in woolies and I wonder how they do the colour changing too! :)

haven't been overly impressed enough with the scents to give one a try yet, but I blame most of that on pregnancy and having different likes and dislikes for smells every day, haha!

  3. Look at Air Wick! Wow, they've really stepped up their game. I LOVE this candle! I love the way it changes colors and the design on the front. So cool. Thanks for making the video Susannah and I love your pictures. Great job! The scents sound really nice.

  4. I'm surprised that Air Wick could come up with something nifty like a colour-changing candle! The scent available don't really appeal to me as I do not like spicy scent but I would grab one if I saw it here in my country just for the sake of the colour changing novelty. I wonder how that works too!

  5. I couldn't take my eyes off the changing lights of my air wick candle either!! So beautiful and mesmorising. Stu thinks there's a heat activated "battery" at the end of the wick which makes the colours change...

  6. Since I can be as easily as entertained as a 5 year old, anything glow in the dark catches my eye. I will have to look out for this next time I'm at the supermarket-- thanks for the rec :)
